Bacolod - Silay Airport

This is our Bacolod Airport in the Phil. Maybe in the future this would become an International Airport for tourists to travel from country to country and visiting our quiet city. It's not crowded and it has different views for you to enjoy especially for the nature lovers.

For those who would like to visit Bacolod City. It was transferred to Silay City since the airport in Bacolod is quite small and cannot accommodate a huge number of people.

Bacolod -Silay airport is located 9 miles from Bacolod City, Philippines. There are many ways to go to the airport. You can take a van, a taxi, a jeepney going to Silay City or a car owned by your family or friends. There is a multi -level passenger terminal to different locations either in Lopues East, SM, Bangga Cory or in any place where you are located. It only serves domestic flights although it was already declared as an International Airport by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. It is interesting to note that it was funded by Japanese companies.

The airport serves it purpose in helping the province especially in the vicinity of Bacolod and other parts of the nearby cities like Talisay, Silay and the neighboring towns and places. Bacolod is known for it's MassKara Festival sometime in October. It is known as the "City of Smiles".

You can reach the airport from Bacolod City for an hour if you take the passengers vehicle. However, it will only take half an hour if you take your own car or someone might bring you to the airport.

You can take a jeepney to Northbound Terminal, when you reach Silay City, you can ask any tricycle for the cheaper price or take a taxi to bring you to the airport which is always available anytime anywhere.

Logo Designs

Have you heard about logo designs? I do. I have seen it either with a friend or a church mate who had been doing such designs. One time our church mate was making a logo design for our children's VBS graduation. I have seen people making logo designs for a t-shirt, promotions, or anything for business.

But there is one custom logo design that I like. They creatively did it and they did it well. I saw it online and I was attracted to it. I guess, I will share it to my church mates next time, they would love it. But not only in the church setting but in other businesses. If you are a businessman, this will fit you, they make different designs and they even encourage you to join in their contests and start making your own design and you will receive design concepts within hours . You will also earn if you win in the contest. This is a great idea, right? This is helpful if you want to start a business and have a custom logo design for your choice.

I would love to encourage my friends to join. I have a lot of friends who would love to start a new business, this custom logo design is what they need for a start. Wanna check this out? Try and see for yourself, I bet, you will really love it.

Yummy Sunday

This is a birthday cake of our Pastor last year when we were there in the Phil. Actually, there were 2 cakes, one from Cattleya and this one. I wasn't able to get a photo because everybody was excited to eat that Cattleya (sorry, not sure of the spelling) cake because it looks yummy and when it touches your mouth, you have to have more of it, lol! But this cake was also yummy.

Perfectly Blended has more to share with Boogie. Come and join us and have fun and see for yourself with your watery mouth seeing all the Yummy Sunday photos.

Web Hosting

Since I started blogging last year I wonder about so many things and how it worked and helped bloggers like me. I tried to ask the help of some friends and started surfing the net as well. But I still wonder what it is all about. A friend of mine told me that having a hosting of your own would be better. And still I had some questions about hosting and domain. I need to buy for a domain, and I guess it's easy but I was bothered about hosting. She told me that hosting is different from domain. So I need a budget hosting for my blog.

There is web hosting available in the net and I'm glad to check for it. I find it interesting and get excited to have it soon. Now I could say, it's not so hard to have it, you just need to surf and look for a hosting of your choice. Blogging is already a part of me and I enjoy every bit of it. I could share my hurts, happiness, desires and longings for my family and my love for the Lord. It helps me to keep going knowing that I've got a lot of friends here and there. So I need to keep blogging and share my thoughts and ideas as well. Blogging helps me in so many ways.

In order for me to keep blogging I need to keep track of my blog and I'm glad to know this budget hosting, it helps me think better of my blog and it will be safer I guess. I suggest to all my friends, you need web hosting to keep you blogging without any hassles. You will see the result later.

Watery Wednesday

Palawan is another island in the Phil. It has a long map which is straight. Most places were still surrounded by big snakes. Not all of the places were proven safe for people to live in. Filipinos living in that place, however, tried to navigate the place and make it as a farm, plant trees around and make the land a better place. It has many beautiful tourist spots where many tourists came and visited.

Watery Wednesday has more to share. Try to join and surf other places.

Bacolod Dancing Porters

In our city, Bacolod, you could see dancing porters. Porters are those people who would help carry your bags and other things you brought for you to easily go out of the ship. However, you need to pay some amount, that's the way they earn everyday. They are working with Negros Navigation Co.

When we went back to the Phil. few years ago, we were shocked by these dancing porters because we didn't travel by ship as a family. We were amazed how they danced, they look so enthusiastic in dancing. Some really danced gracefully. According to many, they were doing it many years ago. They would dance before carrying your bags. That's one of the marks when you visit Bacolod by ship.

For those who would like to travel by ship, try to visit them and see how they perform, they really perform well.

My Concern

Mt teenager is making me upset these past few days. He wanted to go with me back to the Phil. I also wanted to bring him but we still have some considerations since we already booked a ticket for him in May which we took it in advance during the Cebu Pacific Promotions.

I will still consider to bring him because it would be hard for us to travel with my 7-year old. another thing is that, our teenager needs to prepare for an exam for his studies because last year we were told that his homeschool is not recognized by the government in the Phil. and we're doing it for 6 years already, we felt sad and discouraged at first but life is like that. We have no choice but to send him back to get the exam and finish his high school.

Life is tougher this year for us as a family but we always believe we can hold our head up high because there is someone who holds our future and someone who really cares for us. We just need to trust in His Unfailing Love and care. Our God is always there for us come what may.

Why does the faith provision the advisory contempt?

God of All Comfort

I'm so touched by my blogger friends here and there. You all made my days bright while waiting for my trip back to the Phil. either for operation or don't know.

Thanks to all of you for your support and votes. I really appreciate all your efforts to click and vote for my blog.

I could attest that God is a God of order, a God of comfort, a God of humor and a God who cares. As you all know, I'm preparing for my trip and while waiting the Lord is giving me joy everyday amidst my fears and anxiety. The fact that I will be facing another change of our lives as a family and in the midst of all these, He gave me a smile. It didn't come to my mind that this blog would receive that prestige although not that big and enormous but it helps me smile every time I remember and my teenager is also excited to invite his friends around, haha! what a comfort.

I remember every time I was down or feeling bad I either won in a contest and someone will just let me know or someone will bless us something that would make my heart joyful. Indeed, the Lord really cares for His children. Even in small things, He really keeps us in the shadow of His wings that we will never stumble nor fall.

Thinking of the expenses and the preparations I'm groping in the dark. I don't know what to do first...Anyhow, I'm happy for God's blessings though my baby is gone, I could never fathom His greatness in our lives and how He cares for us.

Nominated for the Filipino Blog of the Week

Filipinos around the world are now involved in this so-called blogging world. I had been blogging since last year and I have seen a lot of Filipinos being a part of this blogging industry, so to say. I blog for fun and to share what I've seen, read, places I've been to and experiences I've been through. I also enjoy blogging just to share the exotic food we've tasted as a family not only in the Phil. but in other countries where my family traveled, new culture and wonderful people we've met along the way. It's fun meeting people here especially Filipino friends I've met in the blogosphere.

Just this day, I received a message telling me that this blog of mine was nominated for the Filipino Blog of the week. I was astonished and amazed. I never thought of this, however, when I checked the link it's really true. I was so glad and my hubby and teenager was so happy seeing my blog as one of the nominees.

To all of my friends here, I would like to ask your heartfelt support. I can do this with your great help in voting for me. I would like to ask a favor to please vote for my blog, sparing your little time of voting would mean a lot to me, everyday for just a week. I appreciate it so much. Thank you and I'll be seeing you soon.
